A Paislee Pop Experiment

Posted by Heather Kozon on

I was recently perusing Facebook and came across an ad for some really cute t-shirts that were less than $4.00!  I have to say, even though I own my own business and can make any shirt I want, I got a little excited.  Who doesn't love a bargain?  As I looked at all the pictures, I had to wonder, "Am I charging too much?  Are my shirts worth the cost if you can purchase others for less than four dollars?!?"

(Photo not my own)

I decided to dig a little deeper and look at some of the reviews.  Admittedly, some people left raving reviews.  However, many others were less than stellar.  Shipping took too long and the shirt did not fit well, and many shirts didn't last past one washing.
(Photo is not my own-but I did purchase the shirt!)
I am a "I'll believe it when I see it" kind of girl, so I decided to do my own experiment.  I ordered three different shirts, each from a different Facebook ad.  I chose shirts that I genuinely like and hopefully would be able to wear.  I have no desire to trash another business, so I will keep the company names to myself.  What I will give you, is an honest review of each shirt I receive.  How long did they take to arrive?  How did they fit?  Did they hold up after washing?  Most importantly, are my own shirts over priced in comparison to these "Facebook Ad" shirts?
(This photo is NOT my own...but the shirt sure is cute!)
The shirts pictured in this post are the three that I purchased.  As soon as I start to receive them, I will let you know my honest thoughts.  Stay tuned...but in the meantime, make sure to stop by the website and check out some shirts that you can be SURE to love.
